As part of our Artist Collaboration Series, 2026 featured artist Dana Falconberry has created a collection of artwork highlighting the importance of the Conservancy’s work by capturing the beauty and significance of indicator species at The Ridge Nature Preserve.

Dana says, "In the end, I mean for these pieces to depict a timeless but sanguine representation of life on the Ridge. Instead of portraits, they are my dreams of these landscapes. Here, blue flag iris and dogwood bow to each other in the mysterious swale."

This beautiful original artwork features native flora intricately chainstitched on top of a painted landscape by local artist Dana Falconberry.
