As part of our Artist Collaboration Series, 2026 featured artist Dana Falconberry has created a collection of artwork highlighting the importance of the Conservancy’s work by capturing the beauty and significance of indicator species at The Ridge Nature Preserve.

Dana says, "In the end, I mean for these pieces to depict a timeless but sanguine representation of life on the Ridge. Instead of portraits, they are my dreams of these landscapes. Here, trillium stand proud and tall as sentinels showing us what’s possible—candles illuminating the way."

This beautiful original artwork features native flora intricately chainstitched by local artist Dana Falconberry.
